Red Eagle Mufazza

Red Eagle Mufazza was 3 months old when we got him. We had the female and wanted to breed her and decided to acquire our own male instead of paying breeding fees. Because I prefer the copper and white Siberian Huskies to the silver and white my husband let me choose our next Siberian Husky. I chose Mufazza, who was the largest pup in the litter. Not having been handled much, and being 3 months old, he had a traumatic ride home that took 3 hours. It left him with a strong distaste for riding in a vehicle. We didn't keep him in a dog cage while he was in the house because 2 weeks later we acquired our third Siberian Husky-Tutankhamen. Since Toot was the youngest he got the cage and we kept them in different rooms at night, separating them with a child's gate. |

Mufazza is 8 months old in this picture. He has a look of I didn't do it even though he probably did. His favorite fetish is chewing up shoes, especially mine. This got him into lots of trouble in the house and he was therefore banned to the outdoors when spring came. You can see he had a very blondish copper coat that became dark copper with age. He does lighten up some during the winter though but not to this extent. |

Mufazza gave me a perfect, jokester of the pack, pose here. I call him the jokester because he jumps up in the air when he wants attention, and because he loves to play all the time. He's always trying to get the other dogs to join in the action. With a pleasant personality he loves to play fetch, but is hyper and doesn't tolerate strangers in his territory. He has become a real good watchdog for us which is rather unusual for a Siberian Husky. Our hopes is to breed him to Tifa (but I think she is too old now) or to another female we plan to get next year or in 2 years. Until then he will just have to play with the other dogs in order to have fun. |
