Little Egypt's Tifa

This is Tifa's puppy picture at 6 weeks old. One day my husband decided he wanted his 1st dog he ever owned and it had to be a Siberian Husky. When we found Tifa the breeder had two female puppies that were ready to go. My husband held this one and I held the other one. Tifa looked up at my husband, licked his face, and settled into his arms acting like she had been there hundreds of time before. That's all it took. Dennis wasn't interested in the puppy I had. He held the one he wanted. When we brought her home we kept her in the house until spring and placed her in a large dog cage at night. But those first 3 weeks were ruff. Because we left her alone she would howl almost all night. Nothing we did from putting toys with her at night to a ticking clock just outside her cage would calm her down. When spring came Tifa decided that the house was no place for her to live, just visit. From that day on she has been an outside dog. |

This is Tifa resting from a romp in the park. But she wasn't always this calm. After she decided the house was no place to live in she found much stuff to get her into trouble. Her favorite pastime was chewing electrical cords. It took us a couple of months to break her of that habit. Tifa has a pleasant and want to please attitude except when it comes to other dogs. |

In this picture Tifa is probably thinking about ways to stir up trouble. She quite frequently decides it's too quite around the neighborhood. Her favorite pastime is getting the boys all riled up then waiting for Dennis to erupt from the house and discipline the boys. While the commotion enfolds she just sits back and watches the show; pleased as peaches at her success. One day Dennis observed her instigating the incident and she got into trouble instead of the boys. I guess it was their chance to sit back and have a good laugh on her because it sure looked like they were laughing. Since Tifa is almost 7 years old she should know better than to fool Dennis, at least for long. No matter what she does though she will always hold a special place in my husband's heart. |
